"And our forefathers also?"
The disbelievers are not saying with their mouth "we will not be resurrected"; instead, they have selected their lifestyle as play and amusement by enjoying this worldly life without having awareness that each and every moment of their worldly life after the age of fifteen is being inscribed in the Book of deeds fastened around their neck, which will be given to them on the Day of Judgment as an illuminated spread-open book and will be told to them: "You read your book, today you are enough for your reckoning," as told in verses 17: 13-14; or their own skins, hearings, sights, hands, tongues, legs, etc., will witness against them on the Day of Judgment as explained in verses 17: 36, 24: 24, 36: 65, and 41: 19-24; or on that Day the earth will submit its record against them as explained in verses 99: 4-5, or the verses of the Arabic Qur’an they touched, heard, and saw will argue and witness against them and will push them to Hell as explained in verse 9: 82.
